Edmonton Box League 2021

About

Get ready to hit the courts! Starting July 25 till August 29, we are launching the 2021 Box League Round 2! Make sure to sign up before the deadline of July 23 at the end of day!

Schedule

  • Max of 6 players per box league

  • 1 match per week, up to 6 weeks

  • Schedule and see the results of your matches here

 

How it Works
The league will generally be divided into 3 divisions:

  • BEGINNER league (2.5 - 3.0)

  • INTERMEDIATE league (3.0 - 4.0)

  • ADVANCED league (4.0+)

Eligibility 

  • 2.5+ level

  • Players with similar skill levels will be placed in the box league.

 

Cost 

  • $25 / person

 

Rule of Play

  • Best of 3 sets, tie breaker to 7 points

Prize and Rewards

  • Box League Champion apparel 

​

There are currently no leagues during this season. Edmonton Tennis League will resume during the summer months.​

Edmonton Box League August 2022

​The July 2022 Box League is happening from August 7 - August 21, 2022! Be sure to sign up by July 31st if you're interested in joining!

Important Deadlines​

  • Sign up Deadline: July 31, 2022, at 12:00 AM (GMT - 06:00)

  • Withdrawal Deadline: July 31, 2022, at 12:00 AM (GMT - 06:00)

Details

There will be 3 different levels:

1) Beginner (2.5 - 3.0)

2) Intermediate (3.0 to 4.0)

3) Advanced (4.0+)

How the Box League Works

  • 4 players per box league

  • 3 matches total in a month, 1 match per week, with 1 week buffer

  • Phone number and email required for contact

  • Contact list will be sent out just before league starts

  • Schedule your match on any public courts in Edmonton

  • Top player in each league wins a Box League 2022 Cap (may be subject to change)

  • Past tournament and box league experience may be accounted for placement

  • More details in 'View Regulations' on the registration page
